Attribute values verified in the field by personnel form Red Lodge Fire Rescue.

Logical consistency report:

Hydrants from the original AutoCAD layer were checked against HKM atlas of the existing water system dated 2005.

Completeness report:

Water lines are complete for the City of Red Lodge except for the Diamond C Links and the recently annexed Spires subdivsions. As builts from the 2007-2008 City water improvement project are not included.

Horizontal Positional Accuracy Report:

The majority of hydrants were verified in the field using differential GPS. The horizontal accuracy is /- 1 meter.

Process step:

Hydrants were delivered in AutoCAD format from HKM Engineering, Inc. The CAD layer was georeferenced using a 2 point similarity transformation. The CAD layer was converted to a staging goedatabase using the Import from CAD tool. Hydrant features were seperated into an individual feature class and feature class tables were constructed. Most of the hydrants have been verified and mapped using differential GPS.
